The Overview — project health at a glance

A dashboard, scoped to the current project, sub-project, or all of them. In Blue and Dark, primary headings, names and values use near-white text; supporting copy uses light grey. Light uses dark equivalents. The health table scrolls horizontally when the window is too narrow for all columns.

• One sentence at the top summarizes overdue tasks first, then projected missed deadlines, blockers, completion or remaining work. It reports the current planning signals without guaranteeing that deadlines are safe.
• Under it, one status strip carrying the scope's facts side by side: Lead, Completion (with progress bar and "2 of 25 tasks done"), In progress (with "N in review" when there is work in review), Paused (tasks on hold), and Next milestone (its name, with week and date beneath it). Primary values use the theme's main text color; risk rows retain their status cues. Completion, status distribution and work-in-progress counts include tasks without active subtasks; grouping parents add no extra task to those totals.
• Lead is the one of those that names a person rather than a number: the accountable owner's larger picture, with Lead and name aligned beside it. Every project and sub-project names its own lead. Team access for a workstream is managed in its Project access settings. It leads the strip so the page reads as a sentence: who owns this, how much is done, what is moving, what is stuck, what is next. It is where the lead is said now that the top bar no longer carries an avatar. In All projects and My view there is no one such person, so it is absent and the strip closes over the gap.
• At project scope, Sub-project health: a sortable table, one row per sub-project — lead, progress (a stacked status bar and a %), Done ("3/12"), Left (remaining hours), and three columns that count trouble: Delayed and Slipping for the projected verdicts, Paused for tasks on hold. A zero reads "—", not "0", so the counts that matter are the only numbers there. Any heading sorts by its column, and again to flip it; the table opens on Delayed, worst first — "which of these is in trouble" is what the section is for. Click a row to jump to that sub-project's board. There is no milestone column — a milestone belongs to a project, not a sub-project, and Milestones below is where it lives. In All projects and My view the same table reads one row per project (Project health), and clicking one opens that project's board — in My view over your own tasks, and only for the projects you have some in. At sub-project scope, a single Status distribution bar instead. The Project health and Sub-project health section headings show no row count.
• Overdue & at risk — deadlines lost or being lost: tasks past their due date (done ones excluded) with "Nd overdue" in red, plus — for projects that track delays — tasks projected to miss their due date, marked "projected to miss" (the tooltip carries the projected finish week). Paused tasks — the tasks on hold, each with its pause mark. Click any row to open the task. These Overview rows show the title, project context and owner (the reviewer while a task waits In Review with one) without a task-ID badge.
• Milestones — below Paused tasks, spanning the overview's content width so the task and milestone lists each have room on narrow displays. Each row groups the project and milestone name together, with timing on the right or below the name on phones. A relative chip says "this week", "next week", "in 3 weeks", "last week" or "2 weeks ago", alongside the calendar week and date; the next milestone is highlighted. The + and each row open the Milestones window: one window that lists the project's milestones, adds one from the row at the top (name, week, Add; Enter adds too) and edits any of them in place — a row's Edit button opens it where it stands, with Delete, Cancel and Save, so the rest of the list stays in view while you move it. Every action commits on its own and the window stays open; Done closes it. The window names its project in the title. People with read-only access on the project see the list without the controls.
