# Qivo > Qivo is a product-development planner for people and AI agents. Teams organize work into projects, sub-projects and tasks, then plan against remaining work, dependencies and each person's available capacity. The website is https://qivo.io; the signed-in planner is at https://qivo.io/app. Qivo calls work items tasks. REST uses `/v1/tasks` and `/v1/tasks/{ref}`. MCP provides `list_tasks`, `get_task`, `create_task`, `update_task` and `delete_task`. Shared task links use `/app//tasks/qn-`. Task numbers are permanent within an organization. Credentials identify one user in one organization and do not grant access to every project. When a person connects their assistant, OAuth is the preferred way to connect to `https://api.qivo.io/mcp`: add the remote MCP server in the assistant and complete Qivo's browser sign-in and approval. Personal tokens are a fallback for clients without compatible OAuth support; agent keys serve automation with its own identity and REST access. Use the operating guide to choose between MCP, REST and the browser. Authentication instructions describe connection setup, access and revocation. The product guides below are public HTML pages; MCP clients discover current tool arguments through `tools/list` after connecting. ## Start here - [Qivo operating skill](https://qivo.io/skill.md): Find, create, assign and update tasks; choose an interface and verify the result. - [Authentication and connection](https://qivo.io/auth.md): Connect a person's assistant using OAuth (preferred), use a personal token as a compatibility fallback, or use an administrator-created agent key for automation and REST. - [Qivo in one minute](https://qivo.io/docs/qivo-in-one-minute/): Understand the product and its main views. - [How work is organized](https://qivo.io/docs/how-work-is-organized/): Organizations, teams, projects, sub-projects, tasks and groups. ## Find and work on tasks - [Finding your way around](https://qivo.io/docs/finding-your-way-around/): Navigate the planner, search and open shared task links. - [The task window](https://qivo.io/docs/the-task-window/): Descriptions, status, assignees, remaining hours, planning, subtasks and relationships. - [Working together](https://qivo.io/docs/working-together/): Comments, mentions, subscriptions and the inbox. - [Access model](https://qivo.io/docs/who-sees-what-the-access-model/): Organization roles, project access, viewers and guests. ## Plan and track work - [The Board](https://qivo.io/docs/the-board/): Task status, filtering and project layouts. - [The Roadmap](https://qivo.io/docs/the-roadmap/): Schedule work, inspect dependencies and manage milestones. - [Planning against real capacity](https://qivo.io/docs/planning-against-real-capacity/): Plan people's work across projects; agents have no weekly capacity limit. - [Projected delay](https://qivo.io/docs/will-it-be-ready-in-time-the-delay-status/): Interpret whether work is expected to finish within its planned window. ## Optional - [Automation and AI](https://qivo.io/docs/automation-ai-the-rest-api-and-the-mcp-server/): Overview of the REST and MCP interfaces and attributed writes. - [Organization and team settings](https://qivo.io/docs/organization-and-team-settings/): Manage people, agents and teams; export organization data, including `data/tasks.json` and related task records. - [Pricing](https://qivo.io/pricing/): Published pricing and included usage.
